Injectable Aesthetic Treatments

Injectable treatments at Cheshire Lasers are carried out by four doctors and an aesthetic nurse, at our clinic on Wheelock Street in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Three of the doctors come from general practice and one is still a practising GP. Dr Will Allen is a facial surgeon. Our aesthetic nurse, Katey Moulton, works as a community nurse in the NHS. They all live in Cheshire.

• Microtoxin Glass Skin Treatment
  Also known as Microtox, Micro-Botox or Mesobotox. Microdroplets of highly diluted botulinum toxin are placed into the skin’s surface layers to improve skin quality rather than alter facial movement, giving the “glass skin” look.
• Sunekos
  An injectable containing 6 amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, improving dryness, tone and elasticity, dark circles under the eyes, acne scarring, sun damage and fine lines.
• Dermal Fillers
  Injections that restore lost volume and soften lines in the lips, cheeks, chin, nose-to-mouth and marionette lines and the hands. Our doctors and aesthetic nurse each treat different areas, with the brands they prefer.
• Wrinkle Relaxing
  Relaxing the muscles that crease the skin — frown, forehead, crow’s feet, bunny lines, chin, a gummy smile, excessive sweating. Our doctors and aesthetic nurse each set their own prices.
• Injectable Collagen Stimulators
  Using Injectable Collagen Stimulators like Sculptra, Ellansé, and HArmonyCa. Your skin can appear firmer, tighter and hydrated, and they can also add volume for a lifting effect.
• Profhilo Structura 
  Works on the fatty layer beneath the skin rather than in the skin itself, restoring lift and contour where the face has hollowed. Two treatments thirty days apart, with Dr Teri Johnson.
• Injectable Skin Boosters
  Using injectable skin-boosting ingredients such as Profhilo, Polynucleotides like Nucleofill, PRP and Sunekos to stimulate collagen and elastin. Your skin can appear more youthful, hydrated, plump and fresh after a course of treatments.
• Lip Treatments
  Enhancement, rejuvenation and hydration, carried out by our doctors and our aesthetic nurse, who each work differently. Their prices sit on their own pages alongside their training, so you can choose who treats you.
• HArmonyCa
  A hybrid: hyaluronic acid lifts straight away while calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates collagen underneath for one to three years. Not used around the eyes, lips or mouth. With Dr Teri Johnson or Dr Kyra Drinnan.
• Polynucleotides — Nucleofill, Plenhyage and Plinest
  An injectable treatment using the building blocks of DNA to repair and regenerate damaged skin, used in wound healing since the 1950s. It improves texture, tone and elasticity on the face, neck and décolletage.
• Profhilo
  Often described as an injectable moisturiser. It stimulates collagen and elastin in the top layers of the skin, leaving it plumper and more hydrated after a course, and can even bring some lifting and firming.
• PRP Dracula Therapy
  Platelet-rich plasma uses the platelets from your own blood. They release growth factors that stimulate your skin’s healing and repair. Used on the face, hands, décolletage and scarring, and for hair loss.
• Botox Treatments
  What botulinum toxin is, how it softens the lines made by facial expression, and where it is used. The treatment most people know by the brand name Botox.
• Sculptra
  Poly-L-lactic acid that rebuilds collagen gradually rather than filling a line. Changes show at about six weeks and go on building for a year, then last two years or more. With Dr Teri Johnson.
• Treatments For Lip Lines

• Gummy Smile Treatment with Botox
  More gum shows than you would like when you smile. Usually the muscles that lift the upper lip are overactive, and relaxing them a little lowers how far the lip rises.
• Under Eye Injectable Treatments
  The injectable treatments used around the eyes — Juvelook, polynucleotides and skin boosters — which work by stimulating collagen to improve skin texture and elasticity rather than by filling.
• Ellansé
  A filler and a collagen stimulator — it corrects the line immediately, then keeps working as your own collagen forms. About a year with the S, two with the M. With Dr Teri Johnson.
• Marionette Line Treatments by Dr Kyra Drinnan
  The creases running from the corners of the mouth down towards the chin, which can make the mouth look turned down. Dermal fillers replace the lost support underneath.
• Neck Treatments
  The skin on the neck is thinner than on the face and ages sooner. Injectables, energy devices and topical treatments, often used in combination, for laxity and lines.
• Hyaluronidase
  The enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid fillers, used to soften or reverse a filler result. It works within minutes, but it cannot dissolve fillers that are not hyaluronic acid, such as Sculptra or Radiesse.
• Hand Rejuvenation
  Hands show age through dryness, poor texture, age spots and visible veins. Peels and microneedling can improve the skin, though sun protection is what keeps the result.
• Microsclerotherapy
  The gold standard treatment for leg thread veins. Fine injections close the vein, usually over more than one session, four to twelve weeks apart. Performed by Dr Kathryn Hazlehurst.
• Masseter / Jaw Botox
  Jawline slimming — relaxing the chewing muscle at the angle of the jaw so a square, heavy jaw softens over time. One treatment lasts four to six months, and the muscle reduces further with repeats.
