🔹£20 Booking Fee
From 1st July, a £20 non-refundable booking fee will be required to secure your appointment. This fee will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day, provided the appointment goes ahead or is rescheduled with sufficient notice.
🔹 48-Hour Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment time.
Any cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment time will result in the £20 booking fee being retained, as it is often not possible to fill the space at short notice.

Sharron’s Training:

Sharron is a qualified and experienced Practitioner in Clinical Reflexology, and Reiki Therapy.

She has an advanced knowledge of Reflexology allied with anatomy and physiology, providing a wide understanding of ailments and conditions where a holistic approach through Reflexology enhances your own well-being and healing.

Sharron is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, having completed a comprehensive and advanced reflexology course. She continues to develop her skills through continuous training and development.

Sharron has also undertaken training in Reiki therapy to expand her complementary therapy knowledge, as the two therapies work very well along side each other.

She specialises in Women’s Health Reflexology focusing on improving Women’s overall health, and general well being for all ages.

Facial Reflexology

Hand Reflexology

Tara Shotton became a qualified reflexologist in 2001.  She has since built a successful business, offering a wide range of holistic therapies in Knutsford and the surrounding areas.  With a deep passion for her work, Tara has dedicated herself fully to her career and has gained a wealth of experience along the way,

Tara joined Cheshire Lasers in March 2025. She provides a range of relaxing and restorative treatments, including Crystal Therapy, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles) and Reflexology.

She works with a variety of clients managing different conditions. Tara owns her own business, Sole to Soul Holistic Therapies and practices at Cheshire Lasers on Thursdays.

You’ll usually find her in our peaceful, holistic room upstairs. However, if you need wheelchair access, she can provide treatments in one of our comfortable ground-floor rooms.

Tara specialises in creating personalised well-being treatments that bring balance and harmony to your mind, body, and soul. Whether you’re drawn to Reflexology, Reiki, Crystal Therapy, Indian Head Massage, or Auricular Ear Candling, each therapy is tailored to suit your individual needs.

Tara Shotton’s Training

Tara qualified firstly in Reiki 1. She saw first-hand the difference it made in her own life, as well as for her family and friends. She, therefore, felt inspired to share those benefits with others, so became qualified as a Reiki Practitioner in 2002.  Tara found that providing Reiki to her clients brought the client to a place of deep peace, calm and relaxation.  She saw the benefits of being attuned to Reiki to be so vast that she has dedicated the last 20 years to being a Reiki Master. As a Reiki Master, Tara also offers Reiki training at all levels, supporting you on your own healing journey.

Tara chose to further her speciality by providing Mindful Reflexology, which is specially designed to target the areas of the body linked to stress responses. It also includes mindfulness based guidance to help calm the mind and body and self help tools and practical advice you can use between sessions for lasting support.

Tara focuses on treatments that help reduce stress and anxiety, bringing a deep sense of calm and overall well-being. All the treatments Tara offers can aid in reducing stress and anxiety.

Tara has a special interest in working in the field of cancer and palliative care. Tara has furthered her training at The Christie Hospital Manchester in Adapting Reflexology and Indian Head Massage for supportive and palliative. She can use a wide range of skills and therapies to help patients and their families deal with the emotional and physical effects of cancer and other life-limiting diseases.

Mark Guggiari – Acupuncturist

Mark Guggiari Acupuncturist at Cheshire Lasers

Mark Guggiari MBAcC, PgDip(Acu), Dip(Tui Na) performs Acupuncture treatments here at Cheshire Lasers. He is an Acupuncturist and Tui Na Practitioner, a member of the British Acupuncture Council and Acupuncture Fertility Network. After three years of training at the Northern College of Acupuncture, the University of Wales awarded him a postgraduate diploma in acupuncture. Mark has since completed additional professional development by undertaking further training in supporting patient fertility, qualifying him to belong to the Acupuncture Fertility Network. He also has a Diploma in Tui Na, the traditional form of Chinese Medical Massage.

Mark seeks to support patients by relieving pain, helping to manage chronic conditions, and easing stress and anxiety and, for patients seeking support in their fertility, he helps achieve their hopes and dreams.

Mark also provides acupuncture to patients undergoing IVF treatment at the Hewitt Fertility Centre, part of Liverpool Women’s Hospital, one of only a handful of traditional acupuncturists providing such work in the NHS.

He joined Cheshire Lasers in 2017 to provide Acupuncture Services to our clients in Cheshire, and we have received some great feedback about his services.

Traditional Chinese medicine has a truly holistic interpretation of health, and to tailor treatment to you, Mark spends the initial consultation listening to your concerns about your health and the symptoms you describe and assessing how to treat you. He will then discuss with you the best way forward, which may be acupuncture, Tui Na massage or a combination of both. Some patients may also benefit from cupping. Dietary advice based on the Traditional Chinese interpretation of your health can also be very beneficial.

How many visits will I need?

This will depend on the severity of your condition, how long you have suffered with it and if you follow the advice offered. Generally, good progress is seen within 4 to 6 treatments. Mark will always discuss your progress with you at each appointment.

In theory, everything! Acupuncture has its own descriptions of conditions so it is usually best to ring Mark on 07887 551963 to discuss if acupuncture can help you.
